RE: Chapter Open House, October 11th,
Mr. Robert Davis,
Eminent Archon, the active members and pledges of our chapter have extended an
invitation to all of us to attend an open house on Friday, October
11th at the SAE House located at Two Fraternity Row on
campus. The reunion committee has accepted their gracious offer and
we encourage all of you who plan to be in Gainesville on Friday
preceding the LSU game to attend. The party starts at 7pm with an
open bar and Hors D’oeuvres. This will be an excellent opportunity
for us to meet these fine young men. So that the chapter’s

RE: Our Party on October 12th
There are two logistics items of note that
should be reviewed. We now know that kickoff is slated for 7:45 PM
and is set to be telecast by ESPN. With this in mind,
Bill Andrews
has set the time for the party at 3:30 PM at the Gainesville Garden
Center.
The second item relates to traffic. We have
been in touch with the Gainesville Transit Authority about shuttle
busses, which leave Oaks Mall to BHG Stadium and return following
the game. Since our party takes place prior to the game then our
best solution would be to park at the mall at the south lot behind
Burdine’s and ride the shuttle. Oaks Mall is located near the
Gainesville Garden Center, the site of our party. Enclosed is a map
of the area. Cost of the shuttle is $4.00 round trip. For more
