Welcome to the web site
designed for communications regarding our 50th reunion
for the classes from 1947 through 1956. The celebration is
scheduled for October 12, 2002 in Gainesville, the weekend of the
LSU vs Florida football game. We know from talking to so many of you
that everyone is really looking forward to it!
You will see here a few
of the many photographs that have been saved that memorialize the
years that we enjoyed at the SAE House at the corner University
Avenue and 13th Street. Surely, after seeing these photos, you will
want to share any that you might have saved. If so, please contact

and he can tell you how to get the photos to him for publishing to
our site. They will be returned to you.
The planning of this
occasion began last November and it was indeed a team effort on the
part of many of you putting it all together. Many of you responded
with enthusiasm that you wanted to help in any way you could and the
most significant contribution was your assistance in locating many
"lost" members. Thanks to you we now have an up to date
database including address, phone number, and in many cases, email
addresses. You can rest assured that the loyalty we felt toward our
chapter fifty years ago still exists.
We have all been to
reunions, be it family, high school, profession or military, but
none of us have ever attended a fiftieth anniversary reunion of the
Florida Upsilon Chapter of Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity. Be there!
Be there because Bill and Dodie Andrews are going to be hosting a
reunion party that promises to be a most memorable event!
